We have taken our cars to Aziz for years. He has always been professional, courteous, prompt and effective - I've never had a problem with the work done. I suspect the other reviewer had a problem with his national origin that colored their experience but to me, Aziz has always been a hard-working and very good mechanic whom I trust more than any other I've encountered in my life.

Mid Valley Auto Works – WARNING, CONSUMER KEEPS AWAY FROM THIS MECHANIC

6020 Hazeltine Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91401

It is owned by JARRAHZADEH ABDOLAZIZ an Iranian national, but AKA as AZIZ

Aziz and his mechanic performed a repair on my V6 Ford 24 valve, 200 HP done on 3-6-2013. It was a complete failure and the sticky point of the repair failure was AZIZ refusal to buy 6 new sparks plugs oil seals as requested and necessary to complete the job (6 spark plug oil seals are part of the valve cover)

The repair valve covers gasket replacement was a lousy job done by a rookie mechanic having not mechanic certification and having very little experience on car repairs (unknown by me at the time I brought the car in)

But when I asked the mechanic about the repair shop credentials, he told me that Mid Valley Auto Works is only doing repairs for dealers

Mid Valley Auto Works does not have any mechanic with ASE certification, neither with mechanic certification

I complained to the mechanic that works for AZIZ about the heavy oil leaking coming from the repair done on the valve covers, but he ignored me.

He told me, "sorry I can't talk to you, I have to go to the other job I have"

I want AZIZ to refund the amount of $322.00 invested in original complete Ford Parts and AZIZ labor to complete the job.

Demand of Payment sent, but it was completely ignored

WARNING: DO NO TAKE YOUR CAR TO MID VALLEY AUTO WORKS, UNLESS YOU WANT A LOUSY JOB DONE BY A ROOKIE MECHANIC AND THE IRRESPONSIBLE OWNER

Demand of Payment for $322.00 was completely ignored by AZIZ

I've used these guys for 9 years now after going to other places and being ripped off. The first time I saw them my car was overheating and I just told them to replace the radiator. They called me within the hour and told me that it was just the Thermostat (a $20 fix). Ever since then they have been saving me and my friends money every time. They are VERY HONEST which is HARD to find in Los Angeles. And, even if I got my car checked out somewhere else first out of curiosity, they have ALWAYS been much less than everyone else. Aziz and Hrair are just good solid people and they will have my business for years to come.
