Gault Street Elementary School is a Title I school that teaches students in kindergarten through grade five. It is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States and operates more than 810 educational institutions with a total enrollment of over 707,500 students. Gault Street Elementary School conducts classes in a variety of subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, language arts, reading, computer applications, art, music, life skills, and health and physical education. The school has a library media center that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of free reading options for its students. Established in 1951, Gault Street Elementary School is located in Van Nuys, Calif.
