The Mid Valley Multipurpose Senior Center serves more than 1,000 senior citizens everyday. The center offers counseling, educational and case management services. Located in Van Nuys, Calif., it features advocacy, nutritional and medical care programs. The Mid Valley Multipurpose Senior Center also provides transportation and in-home care services, as well as various recreational activities, including music, dance, and arts and crafts. The center offers psychological assistance for elderly individuals with physical, emotional and mental impairments. It additionally conducts field trips and picnics. The Mid Valley Multipurpose Senior Center provides home repair programs for the disabled and individuals aged 62 and above. The center is a part of Valley Interfaith Council, which is a nonprofit organization that offers physical fitness exercise and educational enrichment programs for individuals, families and children.
