The experience was even better this time if that's possible. I have been going to AutoAid for years and they have always gone out of their way to provide good service; those little things that most mechanics would never dream of doing. Per was a delight and made the chore of having to bring one's car in as easy as possible. The lift home and pickup service are superb. The car is running smoothly. My only complaint...I missed seeing Jack's friendly face.

David & Jack run such a great, honest, efficient & clean operation. I know I will be coming here as long as they own it. I always recommend them to everyone I run into. We needed our brakes done. David said one & half hours & meant it. Car was washed when we got it back too! What really gets me is how clean the work area is, you would never know it was an auto mechanics shop. No oil on the ground, no grime on the equipment.

Service was prompt, of excellent quality, and of a fair price. I intend to go back as needed. Terrific...as it's always been for 15 years!

I went in for an oil and lube, and Auto Aid diagnosed my car, determining that I needed a new battery and wiper. The were able to accomplish both tasks while I waited. I found them professional and efficient, and their work space was clean and well-organized.

It was very good. They were very helpful, they fixed everything, and it was a good price. The price was fair and the quality of the work they did was fine.

I was very impressed by the honesty and fairness of this company. We called up about a possible problem with power steering. They found the power steering to be fine but diagnosed a problem with an axle which they recommended replacing; we approved this and they ordered the part. Then they checked out a couple of other things and advised us against doing any work on the car since they believed we would end up having to fix too many things and end up investing more in the car than it was worth. They charged us nothing for about an hour of their time running diagnostics and saved us a lot of money by being honest with us even though it meant that they lost some potential business today. We will certainly return with another car some day.

Very good, considerate, pretty amazing compared to other auto shops I have gone to. The only thin is that they cost more than most but like I said there way better , but I have never gotten the impression i was being ripped off.

This was my first time to Auto Aid. They were extremely thorough and helpful. I did not feel the slightest bit taken advantage of as I usually do at auto shops. They even made dropping off my car and getting back to it, extremely easily. I will be taking my car there for now on. Forget the dealership!

The service on my car was pretty quick, as expected to attach the side view mirror they did a great job it looks as if were never off.

My car wouldn't start today, I called Jack the owner whom I've known for at least 10 years, told him about my desperate financial situation and that I couldn't even afford a prescription I must have. He came to my home, jump started my car, followed me to his shop in Van Nuys, checked it, discovered that I'd left a small light on and let me go without paying a dime.

They give a complete and thorough check on the vehicles, and will give an honest assessment of necessary repairs, I never feel as though I am being "sold" a job I do not need. In short I can tell you that I've been a loyal customer of AutoAid & Rescue for 20 years. In all my years of car ownership - BMW's, VW, Volvo, Ford, Toyotas, Plymouth Voyager - I have never had a better experience with auto service and customer care. Jack and David are honorable and sociable. Prices are fair and the service is "priceless." Never, never, never have I been sold or recommended something that was not needed. Moreover, when an future repair is upcoming it is suggested to hold off until that time to gain more mileage on that item's repair/replacement thus saving many dollars over the cars lifetime. The shop is always clean and orderly demonstrating a pride of ownership. I'm about two to three miles fromm the shop and if needed a ride home is always offered.

David and the crew pinpointed an exhaust issue I had been battling for months. Ford, a gas station service unit and an exhaust specialist couldn't diagnosis. These guys had it nailed in five minutes.

On a rare occasion, you get to review a business that is just stellar. In LA, it's doubly rare. But in LA, to be able to review such a business and then realize that it's family owned and operated...well, it's like you're transported back to Main Street USA, in the 50s, where the mechanic tells you exactly what's what and everyone knows your name and you can stop holding your breath because you're going to be treated like a real person rather than a "mark" to gouge for as much money as possible. Such an idyllic place exists at AutoAid.
