- Amenities
- Looking for a Van Buren Church? Remember a church is not a building, but its the people in the building. Our Church is simply a place where Christians meet for worship. Some people see a church like a club, perhaps a social club or a service club, and others see a church like a hospital, in that it offers healing to those who are spiritually sick, just like Jesus did.
General Info
Pastors Larry and Jean Beam of Jubilee Christian Center Van Buren Church and we would like to thank you for visiting the Jubilee Christian website. Jubilee Christian Center is committed to the unveiling of the complete, finished, unmerited, unearned "work of grace" that came through the Lord Jesus Christ, which, according to the Bible, we access only by faith. Every sermon is designed to fulfill Romans 12:2 which says that we can, "Be transformed (from the inside out) by the renewing of our minds." While most of Christianity is focused on repentance, most Christians fail to understand that the original word for repent is the word "metanoeo." Meta is the Greek word for change, and noeo is the Greek word for mind. Therefore, to repent means to "change your thinking." Jubilee Christian Center is committed to helping you think like your heavenly Father, especially about grace and faith, simply because, when we think right we will walk right.
