Northwest Indiana Eye & Laser Center was established in 2001 to offer northern Indiana eye care patients the most convenient and comprehensive advanced eye health and vision care available. Serving Porter, La Porte, Lake, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshal and Starke Counties, we are staffed by a team of Board Certified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists as well as an experienced and caring technical staff. Our goal is to provide superb quality eye care in a convenient and professional setting with attention to your comfort.

Dr. John McMahan and his team at Northwestern Nasal have been nothing short of Godsent. When I called to come in two years ago, I had been suffering from chronic sinus infections for the past 5 years, and had been on and off antibiotics and steroids. I was miserable. Dr. McMahan has continuously treated me with skill and care. When I first arrived, Dr. McMahan took CT scans and diagnosed my issues. When a course of medication did not fully treat my infection, he recommended surgery. At the time, I was not ready and wanted to try alternative treatments (herbal remedies, diet/environmental change, etc.). Dr. McMahan supported this choice and did not pressure me, as many other doctors may have done. When I eventually elected for endoscopic sinus surgery, Dr. McMahan & his team took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Dr.s Buck, and Dr. Carlson and staff have been so good to my family. We are always treated with great care and I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else!

Very happy with the quality care I recieved at N.W. Indiana Eye & Laser Center. I saw Dr. Carlson for an eye exam and thought he was very professional and made me feel at ease. I don't like going to the doctor and he made the expierence enjoyable! The staff was polite and everyone greeted me with a smile which is hard to come by these days. I will recommend N.W. Indiana Eye & Laser Center to all of my friends and family!

I couldn't be happier with Dr. Buck's office! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt the whole time I was there, from start to finish, I was given the best care possible.
The staff in the optical deparment was exceptional. With many years of combined experience, they were able to assist me in choosing a pair of glasses that complimented my face wonderfully! Thanks to NW Indiana Eye! I'm a patient for life!

While the Drs. Buck and Carlson seem competent, the women who help pick out your glasses are a complete waste. They are RUDE! (Except the the one named Brenda, she has always been nice nice & treated us with respect)Yes, I will admit my child is on medicaid for glasses, but that is NOT A REASON TO TREAT US AS IF WE ARE DIRT! If you are asking why I do not simply choose a different eye clinic...this is the only one around that accepts medicaid. If I can ever afford to go elsewhere, believe me I will.
