Founded in 1986, Benjamin Franklin Middle School provides educational and learning opportunities and a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students. The school offers classes in grades seven through eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in liberal arts, mathematics and science. Benjamin Franklin Middle School also provides instructive sessions in nonperformance music, industrial technology, family and consumer sciences, speech and computer applications. The school organizes various student activities related to band, choir and orchestra. It additionally offers classes in foreign languages and Physical and health education. Benjamin Franklin Middle School provides opportunities to students to participate in several sports activities, such as football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, cross-country, and track and field.
