NorthStar Services is an agency that offers a variety of services for people who suffer from developmental disabilities in northeast Nebraska. It provides various support services related to living arrangement, home management, personal care, employment, relationship, community membership, finance, health, recreation, leisure, retirement and self-advocacy. NorthStar Services also offers support services for individuals in areas of community living, integration, volunteer activities, career planning and health. Additionally, NorthStar Services conducts senatorial dinners, Christmas parties, on-line employment trainings and hockey tournaments. It provides services in several cities of Nebraska, including Bloomfield, O'Neill, Columbus, Fremont, South Sioux City, Norfolk and Oakland. Headquartered in Wayne, Neb., the agency maintains a location in Valentine, Neb.
