Established in 1978, the Wooden Nickel Pub is a full-service restaurant. Based in Valdosta, Ga., the restaurant offers a broad menu comprising munchies, soups, salads, nachos, sandwiches and pizza. GREAT service, food, and prices! most of all they have games you can play while you wait on your food, what could be better?? always have to stop by there on my way through valdosta. Too bad the one on st.augustine closed =(

I was so disappointed in Wooden Nickel. The food is mere frozen stuff reheated. Nothing cooking at this establishment! The only good item is the fried mushrooms - YUMMY. Service is good but the food - over-priced for frozen stuff! You are better off heading for Wally's frozen food department and picking out an entree for a fraction of the price.

The food is always good and the service is always prompt. Great family atmoshere. Lunch service is fast to allow return to work timely.
