Valdosta High School is a public school owned and operated by Valdosta City Schools. The school provides various courses in a wide range of subjects, including English, fine arts, foreign languages, life skills and special services, math, media, naval science and social studies. It also offers courses in technical, driver s education, health sciences and physical education. The school also has media and counseling centers. Its guidance department provides assistance with educational planning, career decision making, and personal and social concerns. The school also has various clubs, such as art club, Literacy Cats, math team, Poise club, science club, sophomore class and VHS Marching Cats. The school also organizes and participates in various sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, softball, tennis, wrestling, football and soccer.
