Sands Horizon looks great "from the outside looking in". Maintenance requests are not repaired. Leaks in the roof. Washers do not fill. Senior Citizens and Handicapped Residents must fill pails with water to pour into washer. Some residents choose to wash their items twice in order for them to rinse in the 1/3 filled Rinse water. The cycle is $ 1.00. Residents must pay $2 per load or risk clothes not being rinsed. There are codes for the door for each resident. Some of the Main Doors do not lock.Residents open the doors for persons going to other people's apt. That is a safety issue. . These problems have been reported to Management.Responses: WASHERS pass Maytag Guidelines.Nothing said about exchanging washers.DOORS: No notice can be made to residents to NOT open for persons whom you do not know. LEAKS: Will be repaired. Some residents have had leaks for a number of years.The general consensus is "there is no use reporting because nothing will be done". Defective fire alarm.
