Founded in 1993, Moulton-Branch Elementary School provides learning opportunities to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school was named after two former school board chairmen, George Moulton and Dr. David Branch. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, science, social studies and mathematics. The school also provides instruction in physical education, art and music. It has a media center that stocks a variety of reading and reference materials, as well as offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. The school has a 4-H club that assists youths in acquiring knowledge and developing life skills and positive attitudes. It additionally organizes events, classes, activities and forums at local, state and national levels. Moulton-Branch Elementary School is a part of Lowndes County Schools and is located in Valdosta, Ga.
