This is a great location - just steps away from nice restaurants, summer fun and skiing. We stayed in a one bedroom, one bath unit. It was fine. Each unit is individually owned and decorated so the choices can be a bit interesting. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Your front desk staff was very kind and gave us a welcome feeling. The support staff we encountered were courteous, kind, and hard working. I again was impressed by the breakfast quality, servers, and helpers. We visit each September for four years running now and have recognized several faces from the past. Thanks for providing a great place for us to stay!

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful stay - we actually ended up booking another night!

Just returned from a stay at Mountain Haus and had an awesome time. Stayed in a 3-bedroom, 3-bath penthouse facing the mountain. The condo was larger than we expected with 2-bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs on the main level. Mountain Haus has been there for awhile but I believe all of the units have been updated. Our kitchen and bathrooms had definitely been remodeled. Location is fantastic, right on the bus route or walking distance to everything in Vail Village. Free continental breakfast is definitely adequate and much easier to take the kids down there in the morning rather than have to do up breakfast yourself. Fully equiped kitchen with washer and dryer too. Also, the staff was helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.

Five beautiful days and nights at the Mountainhaus at the covered bridge in Vail. We have been coming to Vail in the summer the past nine years. perfect location for the things we like to do..biking, hiking, shopping, dining and music at the Gerald Ford Center and playgrounds and fountains all around. For the past 6 years we have stayed at the Mountainhaus and each time has been better than the last. the staff is very friendly, the facilities are clean and the pool and hot tubs are great. We came in mid July the first time with our oldest granddaughter when she was just 3. Seeing what fun it was and what a family friendly place the village is and the lodging was we brought 2 granddaughters the following year and that lead to bringing 2 young grandsons along with the girls the following two summers. As you can see it gets better and better. Since we now have 7 grandchildren ages 10 months to 9 years of age you can see this story is.... To be continued.

Great stay, good staff, best location. We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The hotel is right next to the covered bridge, close to restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and the price was right for the summer month of August.

First and foremost, I must say that each and every one of the staff members at Vail's Mountain Haus, from the front office/management, to the facilities manager and staff, to the housekeeping staff, were friendly, hospitable and honestly made us feel like true guests of theirs. We've stayed here two years in a row for the annual lacrosse tournament, and the staff's professionalism and courtesy is a big reason why we'll choose to stay here during future visits to Vail. The location also could not be better - right next to the covered bridge and the village. The one minor complaint I have is that the smaller 2-twin bedroom can be pretty stuffy during the Summer months without air conditioning. The ceiling fans alleviate this only a little bit, and the vented natural cooler air at night also helps a little. Other than that, love this place! Did not do the breakfast during our last stay so I did not rate it below.
