We visited, unannounced, and found the place to be clean, no "smells" that I have associated with other convalescent care facilities. Patients were happy. It was a weekend, and yet they did not seem understaffed. Activities in progress at many levels. Those patients with severe disabilities were clean, dressed and in the hall in their wheelchairs, allowing them to absorb any communications, sounds or other stimuli that they could. I, myself, would stay at this facility if I needed the care. They offer 3 hours a day of rehab. Everyone we met was friendly and I saw positive interaction going on between staff and patients. DEFINATELY "THE PLACE" to go. One of the only privately owned places available, not a corporation of uncaring big-wigs! Make this your first stop in finding care for a loved one. You wan't have to look any farther.
