I LOVE THIS PLACE! Im a newly wed who can not cook...and I have food allergies....accomidating. I get off of work real late and they are open late...and always cleaning for the last hour of closing.. door knobs and all! Liver, onions, gravy green beans.. yum! Its the only place that i can get home cooking late!

Townhouse is not good. We have been there half a dozen times now, there are not that many American food restaurants in Uvalde, but I think this was the last. Each time the food is worse, the portions smaller, and the service slower. The bathrooms are filthy; which is an indication, to me, of the kitchen's safety. The oil is old and burned, and they use the same oil for the french fries, onion rings, fish, shrimp, as they do for the chicken fried steak. The enchilada's are way too salty and the burger (which was the saving grace) has become too greasy and much smaller. My guess is that they are using a 73/27 ground beef to obtain the 1/3 pound precooked weight as advertised in the menu and then under cook it. Then the kick in the pants- or should I say the wallet, It is way too expensive for the food, service, atmosphere, and lack of cool air.
