What happened to this place? It used to be one of the best in Utica and we always looked forward to going there for dinner and parties there. The last time we were there, the food was terrible and cold. We received the wrong food and when we asked for special arrangements due to likes and food allergies, the food came out just the way it was listed on the menu. When we sent it back, it was obvious that the items we needed eliminated were simply scraped off. Cold food was reheated in a microwave (puddles of liquid in the dishes were not even drained off). We asked to speak to someone in charge and no one ever came out. Very disappointed and will not go back

Business and family brings me to Utica regularly and what a surprise Alee's has been. The Polish menu provides hearty food which warms the soul. The Italian dishes have sauces that are flavorful and speak of family recipes. The Polish Combo Platter, the Bigos, the Alee's Greens, or the Chicken Riggies are all excellent. Portions are generous and the service is friendly. If you're looking for fine dining with something new on the menu, try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful inside but the waitresses were not very helpful or apologetic for not checking on our table. Dinner was a little expensive for what we got.
