The Utica Community Fire and Ambulance Protection District, formed by the merger of the Utica Fire Department and Utica Community Ambulance Service, offers firefighting and emergency medical services. The district operates a rapid intervention team, as well as provides search, rope rescue and vehicle extrication solutions. It also offers fire suppression and hazardous material response services. The Utica Community Fire and Ambulance Protection District provides coverage for Waltham, Utica, Deer Park, Ophir and Dimmick townships in Illinois. The district maintains a fleet of ambulances and wildlife and rescue trucks. In addition, it operates a fire station and offers online fire safety-related resources.
