Hydronic Energy, Inc was founded in 1978 by Richard A. Hinz to act as a sales representative for heating products. The company started with an office in Des Moines, Iowa, and has grown to a stocking representative with offices and warehouses in Des Moines, Iowa, and in Omaha, Nebraska. Kevin Bjornsen bought out Richard Hinz' interest in Hydronic Energy on January 31, 2001. The company has continued operations as usual with an even greater emphasis on customer service. Hydronic Wholesale is a related company which represents manufacturers that market exclusively to plumbing and heating wholesalers.
