Angela Spencer, PT, MSPT, CMPT, CAFS is fully trained and licensed Physical Therapist in the Des Moines Metro since 2003. She is a physical therapist with 15+ years of experience in the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting. She has worked with people ranging in age from 2months to 96 years of age and with a wide variety diagnoses. She is an Astym certified provider, a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through NAIOMPT (North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists), a certified Pose Method Running specialist, a Certification in Applied Functional Science and 3D MAPS, and well trained in ACL and hip rehabilitation. She is able to fit custom foot orthotics, perform manipulation of the spine and joints, and works with children with torticollis. She works with many local athletes for sports rehabilitation and specifically runners, softball/baseball players, volleyball, soccer players, dancers, and Junior Olympic gymnasts. Our goal is to help make our community healthier by allowing them to discover the benefits of fitness and wellness at their own pace. We offer ways to help people recover from their fitness workouts by using equipment with patented technology to help massage muscles in our recovery room to promote blood flow to the muscles and to help control swelling or soreness from the DOMS effect (delayed onset of muscle soreness). We want to help people stay active and healthy by meeting them where they are in their wellness journey and offering ways to improve strength for better performance and reduce the risk of injury.
