Founded in 1957, the Girl Scouts - Spanish Trails Council is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of services and programs for girls. Its Pay It Forward project teaches girls about recordkeeping, handling money, following directions and setting goals. The organization also provides educational programs and camping services. It offers an ice skating program that promotes the development of character and life skills amongst Girl Scouts. The organization also conducts workshops on topics related to self-esteem development, personal responsibility, goal setting and teamwork. The organization organizes trips and tours for Daisy, Brownie, Juniors and Juliette Girl scouts.
