General Info
Dan Smith founded Tacoma Custom Jewelry in December of 2010. The companies first location was on Broadway in the Winthrop across from the Pantages Theater in Downtown Tacoma, WA. From this location, the company grew and relocated over to 6th Avenue where Dan joined, and was quickly elected, the Vice President of the Sixth Avenue Business District. Within a year and a half, Tacoma Custom Jewelry was ready for another growth spurt. This move took them from their first location on 6th Avenue (2610 Suite B) to 2610 Suite A, and allowed them to almost double their square footage. After serving on the Sixth Avenue Business District's Board (SABD) for two years as the Vice President, Dan Smith was elected President of the SABD in the Fall of 2013, and true to the companies history, another move to yet an even larger location was due. Dan Smith changed the name of Tacoma Custom Jewelry to Tacoma Custom Jeweler's in an effort to better reflect the companies growing network of master bench jewelers, distributors, artists on consignment within the store, and the companies ability to create jewelry via a state of the art CAD Cam system. And in the Winter of 2013, he moved the business to a larger location on 6th Avenue. Tacoma Custom Jewelers is now located at 3013 6th Avenue Suite A. This most recent move has allowed Tacoma Custom Jewelers to showcase a large assortment of jewelry, Milliefiori, Italian glass vases, unique local paintings, and award winning photos in their larger store, so feel free to stop by, experience, and take part in the next chapter of this growing jewelry store's history.
