I would caution anyone taking a vacuum for repair to take a picture of your vacuum. Last summer I took my Kenmore vacuum, a canister type for repair. I was called and told the price which was more than $100.00, that my vacuum's motor was bad. I said OK. I went back to pick it up and as soon as the elderly woman brought out my vacuum I told her, this is not my vacuum, mine wasn't a Panasonic. I said the color is all wrong, she said they polished it and she had her ticket that matched mine. I left as I was in a hurry. Well, I was given a different vacuum. I know Panasonic made vacuums for Sears. I discovered the truth, my vacuum had a light that lit up when the bag was full, this one doesn't. I will never go back to them as I found a much more reliable place on Austin Highway. Also, there was a sticker with the name of the repair shop, but odd, it wasn't the name in Universal City where I took my vacuum but an address on San Pedro.

Not impressed with this place at all!!! I took my cleaner to them, per Hoovers request, to have my steam cleaner hose replaced. The store was sloppy and dirty. I get it, they replace and fix different a wide variety of items but to allow your shop to look so messy, is not a good look. I dropped it off, the staff was very rude and not personable, gave me a ticket and said bye. I asked, "since this is the first time I've ever had to do something like this, can they explain what the process is?" They said something brief reluctantly. I noticed a few weeks later, I hadn't heard anything from them so I call, Wilma answered the phone and was very rude. Couple more weeks go by, nothing, so I call and ask for a status. They finally called me another few weeks later saying it was ready for pick up. after confirming it was ready, we pick it up, only to be told by Wilma, it's not ready. I then speak with her again and she had my name on the wrong unit and mine, was in fact ready.

Service.......Service......Service !!!! At first I was a skeptic about this Company, and the Vacuum I purchased from them. The day I purchased it, the Manager kept telling me I would love the new vacuum I just bought. I thought it's just a vacuum, what's the big deal? .But after almost a year of using the system, I must admit.....I love it !! Recently, I thought I broke my vacuum and took it in for service. After, keeping my cleaner for 2 days, they called, and told me my vacuum was ready. When I picked it up, I found out, that my vacuum was not broken, I just needed to reset it, because of something I did. Never the less, they cleaned my vacuum, replaced a belt, put in a new bag, and added 30 more days to my warranty. In these days when Customer Service has gone by the way side, I am so HAPPY to see that someone still cares about their customers even after the sale !!! I would recommend this Company again and again. Thank You All Central Vacuum, You Guys are the Best !!
