My daughter has been dancing at the Academy of Dance for over 10 years now. She has never once come home to me complaining that she's not in as many dances as the other girls. It's not the number of dance you are in that counts, its the quality of the dancer. Depending which classes you take, determines which extra dances you are in. My daughter has learned and gained new knowledge over the years about dancing. She has mastered techniques that many people think is "so easy." I do not regret one minute of sending my daughter to this studio. It has some fine teachers who know how to do their job. The Academy of Dance is a place of learning in a fun way. The students that take classes there do so because of their passion for dance. At every recital, I watch my daughter and smile because I see that she is having the time of her life up on that stage. I think that the music is played a reasonable level and I enjoy watching all of the dancers grow into beautiful young dancers.

My girls have been dancing at AOD for years, and as they have progressed and added dance classes, they have been featured in more dances. They love the studio and have absolutely grown in their technique, which helps with tons of other things like maturity. They look forward to preparing for each recital and can't wait to go back after every summer vacation. There's always a different theme to each show which helps connect the dances so it's not just a boring show of dance after dance. I have been thoroughly satisfied as a parent at this studio, with the experiences my daughters have had over the years, the dance education they have received, and the low price!

i.e., A local fThis dance studio has a recital that has numerous dances that consist mostly of the teachers and their aides. They try to make it into a play rather than a recital and the children that take classes have minimal amount of parts in the dances. If they stuck to letting just the paying students perform, the recital would take about an hour, instead it takes 3 agonizing hours in a non air conditioned school. The majority of the recital is a tribute to the talents of the teachers and their aides not to their students talents. They have a static convesation going over the loud speaker to eat up the time they waste changing costumes, if they were better organized they could put the other students on that weren't on the stage and that would give the teachers time to change into their next role in their quest to be a professional.
