      Dr. Georgeanne Croskey grew up on a family farm in Willits with her mother, father, Dr. Tedd Dawson (a local surgeon), and her 5 siblings. She was active in sports and 4-H during high school and after being crowned the 1996 Willits Frontier Day’s Sweetheart, she moved to Ohio to attend Miami University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000 with a BS in Physics and was commissioned as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force. After 5 years of active duty she moved into the Air Force Reserves and began a family with her husband, Matthew. Georgeanne attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine school where her focus was large animal medicine. During veterinary school she also worked in the veterinary hospital as an extern responsible for the clinical labs during nights and weekends. Dr. Croskey, her husband Matt, and their three young children, Grace, Jack and Lorelei, now reside in Willits where she is happy to be back home and serving her community as a veterinarian.
