They make things as cheap as they can

This is my second review. I decided to give them another chance. Asked them to install a ToneStyler into my guitar (Specialty Tone Pot) and a replacement pickup. I also asked them to float my bridge a little so I could properly use my tremolo. I asked them to make sure they would do this. When I recieved my guitar they had not listened to my Tremolo request. And when they rewired all the pickups the 5 way selector switch worked backwards. The bridge played the neck pickup and vice versa. I have come to the conclusion that their instalation department is either incompetant or just doesn't care about their customers. I have decided to learn to do my own modifications. If they can't do it right, I'm just going to have to learn to do it myself. Maybe they can hire me on a consulting basis next time they have to rewire or install a guitar. Clearly by then I'll have more insight than what they currently posses.

I have went to Music Center several times to have modifications done on my Fender Strat. I originally asked them to install a new set of pickups into my guitar. Once the job was completed I noticed that they had installed the wrong pickups in the wrong postions. When I pointed this out they suggested I take it home and try it to see if I liked it that way first. I then told them that I wanted those specific pickups in those spots. It was even labeled on the pickups and in the instructions that came with them that they were desigined to go in those designated spots. Then they told me they'd fix it, but they had other order ahead of me so it would take about a week. I then suggested they fix it immediately because they goofed and it was no fault of my own. After not backing down, they decided to take my request.If they mess up they will try to pull the whool over your eyes to cover up their mistake. BEWARE!!!
