General Info
Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America provides and specializes in ministry of service. Through its thousands of human service programs that include housing and health care, the organization helps more than two million people in over 400 communities in 44 states. The centre supports people, which include at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals, families, people with disabilities and people recovering from addictions. Volunteers of America is located in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
