Recently moved to Tuscaloosa and needed a good mechanic. Pricing is reasonable and seem to be very honest.

I moved to the Tuscaloosa area 7 years and asked around for an honest, reasonable priced mechanic who does good quality work. Turns out, that is Mike Minor's Auto Repair. Recently, I shopped around for 100k maintenaince (timing belt, water pump, etc.) I called most places in Tuscaloosa who I could find online. Mike's total price was about 40% less than most of the other places I spoke with.

have a son at school at university with sudden car trouble just before thanksgiving. being out of town and unable to assist except by phone I was worried about where to have the car looked at where we could expect honest people and quality work for a 10 year old vehicle. I believe the Lord directed us to this shop. the car was evaluated the same day it was brought in, the technician discussed the problem with my son and the owner talked with me by phone, and the work was done the same day at a very reasonable rate. they did not suggest any extra work and the service was very friendly and prompt. the owner said he like to treat people the way he would want to be treated. the golden rule is still alive and it works! highly recommend this shop without reservation!
