Gaylord Chemical Company, LLC is one of world's largest producers of Dimethyl Sulphide (DMS) and Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) products. Located at Tuscaloosa, Ala., the company produces Exact-S DMS which has applications in the hydrocarbon industry, including the production of ethylene. It is also used in certain chemical reactions of importance to the pharmaceutical industry. Besides, it manufactures various grades of DMSO products which find applications in drug delivery/healthcare applications, water sensitive reactions, industrial solvent cleaning, petrochemical synthesis, catalysts presulfiding and agricultural synthesis, among others.
