Alabama Fire College is accredited by the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications and offers a wide range of certified programs. It provides emergency medicine program that includes emergency medical treatment, paramedic, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, continuing education classes and specialized training. The commission also offers various certification, noncertification, and volunteer on-site field training courses for the Alabama fire service and its allied professions. Alabama Fire College has an industrial training division that offers specific training programs, including fire brigade training, fire protection system training, confined space and high-level rescue, hazardous materials, and incident command. It also provides customized training programs for business and industry needs. The college is located in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
