Welcome to the web home of Christ Episcopal Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I hope you will use these pages to learn enough that you will feel comfortable coming to visit us in person. We have a rich history, being the oldest parish in the Diocese of Alabama. The University of Alabama was actually founded here. Many generations of faithful people have come to Christ Church to seek the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. We are honored to be the successors of such good folks, but we are more than a place with a history. We are a dynamic, busy, and joyful faith community, seeking to serve Christ and to make disciples to share His love.
