- The cardiologists and staff of Cardiology Consultants, P.C. welcome you to our practice. We are pleased that you and your physician have chosen us to help with your health care. Our goal is to provide you with the best cardiovascular services available. Our practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel related diseases. Some of these include: coronary artery disease, hypertension, abnormal lipids, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD). We provide cardiovascular care in consultation with your primary care physician. The additional professional staff include the following: certified registered nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, registered radiologic technologists, registered diagnostic cardiac sonographers, and registered vascular technologists. Our vascular lab is accredited by the ICAVL, our nuclear lab is accredited by the ICANL, and the echo lab is accredited by the ICAEL. Accreditation provides peer recognition of the high standards set for the quality of noninvasive testing being performed in the respective testing areas. Recognized throughout West Alabama, Cardiology Consultants has provided a comprehensive range of cardiovascular medical services for over three decades. In 1973, Dr. William A. Hill began practicing medicine with a prominent group of internists as Tuscaloosa’s only cardiologist. By 1981, Dr. Hill founded Cardiology Consultants, P.C. staffed with five dedicated employees and the objective of bringing the highest quality, state-of-the-art cardiovascular services to West Alabama. Today, Cardiology Consultants, PC has grown from a 1,500 square foot office on Anna Avenue in 1981 to a 14,000 square foot office in the DCH Medical Tower in 1991. We now employ a staff of 50, including seven cardiologists and two nurse practitioners. We began providing services to satellite clinics over two decades ago. Today, we serve residents in nine counties throughout West Alabama and Alabama’s Black Belt. Despite our modest beginnings, our physicians to date provide an accumulative century of experience. The initial goal for the practice has not changed since 1981 – to continue to grow with the community and offer the most up-to-date cardiology services possible with a personal and caring touch.

We provide cardiovascular care in consultation with your primary care physician. The professional staff at Cardiology Consultants, P.C. includes: Board certified cardiologists William A. Hill, Jr. MD, FACC; MD, FACC, Jeffrey K. Anderson, MD, FACC, L. Anne Lewis, MD, FACC, Amit K. Shah, MD, Dr. Ed Carraway, MD and Dr. Bradley Proctor, MD, FACC; Vishal Dahya MD, Petra Lynch MD, certified registered nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, registered radiologic technologists, registered diagnostic cardiac sonographers, and registered vascular technologists. Our office based peripheral vascular suite opened August 2019 in our suite 608 of the DCH medical tower. We now perform our leg cases in this suite. We accept most health insurances.
