Founded in 1981, the Northeast Foundation For Children is a nonprofit organization. It is a developer of the Responsive Classroom approach and offers professional development services. The organization conducts academic, emotional and social skills development classes for students. Northeast Foundation For Children has a staff of more than 100 trained and certified teachers who provide follow-up consulting services. The organization also features an online bookstore that offers a selection of books, DVDs, greetings and reference materials for children. It additionally works with educators and schools throughout the United States. Northeast Foundation For Children organizes workshops that include elementary teaching classes.
