- Teeth CleaningThe health of your teeth and mouth is very important to the well-being of your entire body, and while routine brushing and flossing at home is necessary to keep your smile looking its best, visiting your dentist for a comprehensive exam and cleaning is essential. According to the Academy of General Dentistry, “it is strongly recommended that a dentist or hygienist perform a dental cleaning every three to six months.” Many times Dr.Collura or one of his highly skilled hygienists will recommend a hygiene therapy appointment based upon the specific dental needs of you. However, regardless if the appointment is every three months or every twelve months, Dr. Collura and his team perform a thorough and comprehensive examination.
- Fluoride Treatment
- Dental SealantsAt our office we highly recommend all children have sealants placed immediately after eruption of their first molars (six year molars) and again for the second molars (12 year molars). In children at high risk for cavities we may rec them on premolars or even primary (baby) teeth. We use only BPA- free sealant materials, which not many offices do not offer!
- Fillings
- VeneersPorcelain Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. We recommend this treatment to anyone experiencing discoloration that cannot be fixed with whitening or if your teeth are damaged. Porcelain veneers are also an option if you’re unhappy with the shape or look of your natural teeth.
- CrownsDental crowns are permanent prosthetics that cover a damaged tooth. A dentist might use them in place of a large filling or when a tooth is weak or fractured.
- BridgesWhen your teeth are missing, it greatly affects your smile. At the same time, the missing tooth has the potential to negatively affect your oral hygiene because of unprotected gum exposure. Dental bridges are one of many options aimed at improving the appearance and function of your teeth by replacing the missing tooth or teeth. During your exam, we will discuss whether or not dental bridges are right for you.
- Dental Bonding
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals have a reputation for being painful. Actually, most patients will tell you it is no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. Dr. Collura uses advanced technology to ensure root canal procedures are stress and pain-free as possible.
- DenturesWhen you have missing teeth, an alternative solution to dentures is dental implants. While dentures are removable, dental implants provide permanent new teeth to restore your mouth’s function and appearance. Dental implants tend to offer a successful and lasting solution to the loss of some or all of your teeth.
- Dental ImplantsWe are able to provide different dental implant solutions depending on your specific needs. We will conduct a thorough assessment and discuss your options with you during your scheduled appointment.

Jeff graduated from College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Ma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He then moved to Cambridge, Ma, working as a lab tech in a molecular genetics lab at Belmont Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School. During this time he was accepted to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he completed a one year general practice residency at the Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington Vt. Here he received extensive training in oral surgery and clinic based dentistry. During this period, he received training and gained experience working with Cerec technology, performing same day crowns. Dr. Collura is very excited to now offer this technology to his patients.
- Gum SurgeryYes. Root-canal teeth are very brittle. Without a crown to protect it, you are 50% more likely to suffer a disastrous tooth fracture which may require gum surgery to restore, or necessitate tooth removal altogether! A post and core for strength and retention can be incorporated into the CEREC® crown design for an all-in-one treatment of a root canal tooth.

- Teeth WhiteningTeeth stains are inevitable due to aging, and our consumption of a variety of foods and drinks (spicy food, berries, tea, wine, soda,etc.). However, advanced teeth whitening technology has enabled dentists to whiten teeth without adversely affecting the tooth structure.
- Cosmetic DentistryIn some cases, a dental concern may be negatively affecting the look of your mouth, although there may not be any problems with function. If this is the case, cosmetic dentistry may be right for you. Cosmetic dentistry includes a variety of treatments that improves the appearance of your smile.
