Not my kind of "family" campground.Odd blue color in "swimming"pond.Young children racing around in golf carts,broken toys on a cement pad,touted as a play area,Camp store open sporadically,I was looking for a seasonal site,but even the seasonal campers were not at all happy at this campground,as most were talking of leaving and finding another campground.

Wonderful mostly wooded campground. The new owners have been working very hard to rejuvenate and add so many new extras! Horseshoes, playground, fish and frog pond, oodles of wildlife, level and large campsites for campers and tents. Very quiet and relaxing family campground! Our experience here was wonderful, after being welcomed by the new owners (of 1 year) we were given a glimpse of what is to come.......Their ideas are very refreshing and will make it a 5 star in a hurry! Thanks for a great experience Stony Mountain!
