Unit Corporation is an energy company engaged in the exploration for and production of oil and natural gas, the acquisition of producing oil and natural gas properties, the contract drilling of onshore and natural gas wells and the gathering and processing of natural gas. Operations are principally located in the Mid-Continent region in areas that include the Anadarko and Arkoma basins, Permian, Rocky Mountains and Gulf Coast basin. Unit Drilling Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Unit Corporation, which was established in 1963 and is one of the largest land drillers in the United States, operating more than 100 onshore drilling rigs. With the largest percentage of deep rated, premium rigs in the industry; Unit is positioned to benefit from the expanding domestic natural gas market. Unit Corporation's principal corporate office is located in Tulsa, Okla., with regional offices in Oklahoma City, OK; Booker, Borger and Houston, Texas; and Casper, Wyo.
