Absolutely the finest Doctor I have encountered in my search for chronic pain relief. Highly recommend

*This is long, but I was very satisfied with this dr and here is why...*I was referred to Dr. Stephens for pain management for a GI problem that I've had the run around with my doctors/ERs/surgeons etc. with all year long, (not to mention other similiar issues for years before anybody would listen, ending me in the OR in terrible shape)...they gave up and sent me to get help controlling my pain. **VERY FRUSTRATING!!** Thinking it was going to be a waste of my time and money, I went anyway...sort of as a last resort. The second she came in she was extremely compassionate, understanding, non-judgemental and wanting to try and help me figure out what can be done to figure out what is wrong with me. She is the only dr. I have been to for this problem that was actually willing to sit down, and help me without shoving pain meds at me to shut me up and tell me "All the tests and bloodwork look great! Follow up with your PCP!" She said that there is something going on and it needs to be figured out. She offered a few non-invasive treatment options as well as Mayo Clinic, since I am a difficult case... was willing to put in a referral for me and was not in a rush to leave the exam room, still talking as the door shut behind them! It gives me hope that really are doctors that care and enjoy their job! We need more drs like her!!
