Miss Helen's Private School has been providing a variety of early childhood education services since 1954. Its preschool program conducts sessions in a variety of subjects, including Spanish, art, music, reading and mathematics. The school s kindergarten curriculum includes creative writing classes, worksheets, thematic studies and special projects, as well as focuses on the development of social and motor skills. Miss Helen's Private School inculcates special teaching methods for students in grades one through five that includes mathematical computations, problem-solving skills and computer applications. The school additionally conducts classes in various subjects, including geography, science, physical education and social studies. It employs a staff of directors, teachers, assistants, supervisors and counselors. The school maintains a more than 15,400-square-foot facility and serves more than 200 students.
