Briarglen Elementary School is a Title I school that serves more than 600 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school employs a staff of over 70 people. It is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Briarglen Elementary School also offers instruction in art, music and physical education. The school provides classes in language arts and math. It offers Internet access in classrooms. The school provides assistive technology sessions for special education students. It offers mentoring, extended-day, and gifted and talented programs. The school administers the English Language Learners program. Its computer laboratories are equipped with nearly 55 student stations. The school operates jump rope and chess clubs, as well as a student council. It works in partnership with the Tulsa Technology Center. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher organization and library and media center. Briarglen Elementary School is a part of Union Public Schools.
