Several years ago the Forum of Tucson was an OK place for seniors to live... but in the last few years all aspects of this facility have gone WAY downhill. The prices are very high, the service is very poor and the food, for the prices paid for residency, is appalling. For residents in Independent Living, you can forget about ANY care if you become ill or fall down or have an accident of any kind. The facility is very old and most everything breaks down regularly, fire alarms go off by mistake often, with sirens that would wake the dead. The new manager is rude and incompetent. The place is half-empty and for good reason.

and that Ingrid in the Ambassador dining room is so very kind and will do ANYTHING for her residents. She has been here since the day it opened. Now THAT speaks volumes for this community to have an employee who is loyal...she is awesome and my parents LOVE her.

The Forum at Tucson is filled with caring staff who strive every day to make the residents quality of life fun and they treat them like their own family. The food is excellent, activities are exciting and fun filled. the executive director and her assistant are accessible and take complaints seriously and work hard to fix any issues that are brought to their attention. The building is older but the maintenance department is working hard to get it back in to shape. I love this facility for my parents. I know that they are in good hands!

The forum provided excellent top notch care for my husband. The facility is clean, quiet, and in good repair. The only fly in the ointment in their social worker, Linda Randolph. Try to avoid dealing with her, as she is very rude and impatient. Try to talk with the nurses instead if you can.

i would not recommend anyone living there. the nurses from all sides are very rude and disrespectable to residents and wery badly the the familys that come in,,, i would definility not give this place a five starr place. the only reason this place is still open is due to the caregivers.the get rid of all the caregivers and put these caregivers there that just don't care, and it shows in their work . what ever happened to the quality of care being given, its just not there anymore.it was very hard when i had family there and working with certain caregivers and now you have put in these caregivers that hardly speak any english, most of the residents got very upset, due to not being able to understand them. they don't seem to understand them as well. there are plenty more reasons that i have had my family member remover from your so called five star quality care. i would'nt even rate you at a one star quality, due to all the things i'v seen as well as many other residents family had seen
