Sujata Sarkar, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist with more than 10 years of clinical experience. She has received numerous awards from prestigious national and international organizations, and her work has been published in respected peer-reviewed journals. A proponent of patient-involvement, Dr. Sarkar values building the trust and respect of patients. Her collaborative approach encourages patient education and participation. She completed her internal medicine residency at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, followed by a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Sarkar has served as faculty of the University of Michigan and the University of Arizona. She enjoys the Tucson weather and culture, and is actively involved in community-outreach programs involving rheumatologic illnesses. Dr. Sarkar is an enthusiastic member of the TMCOne team and is passionately dedicated to providing rheumatology care to the Tucson community.
