Mr. Otwell performed a home inspection of my home which was being sold in Tucson. The buyers of the home and their realtors hired Mr. Otwell. Mr. Otwell accidently broke one of my windows. Instead of notifying me of the accident, he instead leaves his business card informing me to call him about the broken window. He left my home unsecured with a broken window without even notifying me that my house was now not secure. It could have been days before I discovered his card, since I was not staying there that week. I call Mr. Otwell and we agree that I will fix the window, give him a receipt and he will re-imburse me for the window repair. On March 1st I email him the window invoice for 200$. On March 2nd he replies that he will mail me the check. I waited patiently until March 16th. The check did not arrive. I emailed Mr. Otwell twice over the next week and received no response. I also called him on his cell and business number and left kind detailed messages about not receiving the check. The calls were also not returned. I also called multiple times without leaving a message. He did not answer any of the calls. I finally tried calling his cell from my work number. He answered. I said my name He HUNG UP on me! I immediately called him back. No answer.It was now blatantly obvious that Mr. Otwell was avoiding me and my messages and avoiding owning up to the fact that he owed me 200 $.I finally had to call the realtor company so that they could try to contact him. They did and finally he emails me asking me for my address which had already been given to him. He did finally, after more than a month of waiting send me the check after causing me much stress and anger.I have never dealt with a so called professional and business owner who avoids messages, emails, hangs up on people and doesnt answer their phone calls.Do NOT hire this man to do a home inspection. He is extremely unprofessional, rude and a disgrace to the profession.
