Ryan Martinez, M.D., is a primary care provider who focuses on helping patients establish strong overall health and improve their quality of life. As a physician, Dr. Martinez provides care beyond immediate health treatment and works with patients to create a long-term health plan. He values building a trusting relationship with patients that encourages regular visits to prevent occasional health matters from developing into chronic problems. Dr. Martinez invests the time to listen and learn about each patient’s challenges and needs, so he can provide meaningful information and suggestions that fit the patient’s lifestyle. A Wildcat, Dr. Martinez earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona before attaining a master's degree in public health and a doctorate in medicine from UA. In addition to his medical training and master’s degree, Dr. Martinez worked as a behavioral health technician for five years. The opportunity gave him a strong understanding of patient expectations, compassion and how providers can work best as a team.
