Founded in 1981, Pima Heart is a health care facility that provides cardiac care services in southern Arizona. It offers a variety of cardiovascular and preventative health care programs. The facility provides cardiac rehabilitation, nutrition counseling, stress reduction and management and coronary artery disease reversal services. Pima Heart also offers pacemaker implantation, venography, and coronary and peripheral vascular angioplasty services. It additionally provides clinical research and vascular screening services. The facility maintains a staff of more than 25 physicians, as well as several nurse practitioners and support staff members. Its physicians are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Pima Heart maintains one of its locations in Tucson, Ariz.
