The Pima County Department of Transportation offers a range of field engineering services. The department operates a community relations division that receives and responds to complaints, requests, concerns and inquiries from the public, as well as implements special education programs in the areas of teen driving safety and adopt-a-roadway. It governs administrative services and operations and maintenance divisions. The Pima County Department of Transportation supports the Roadway Development Impact Fee Program and is a part of Pima County Government in Arizona, which administers a public works department that is responsible for the repair and maintenance of roads and streets.
