Not recommended if you are wanting a welcoming and open childcare environment for your children. This is for the Campbell and Irvington location. The office was very unorganized which made the communication very difficult which for me is not acceptable when it comes to the well being and safety of my children. Most of the teachers were okay but they all seemed to be overwhelmed or maybe mistreated by mamagement which resulted in my children always having a dirty diaper at pick up and simple instructions not being followed. My daughter got a bad yeast infection right after starting there and even though she was 2 and potty trained they said they wouldn't take her to use the bathroom because the other kids weren't potty trained in her class. Overall- the director Gilardo was always nice and very kid friendly but the person who he lets run the daycare for him is not a person who enjoys being around children and it's very obvious. Her animosity and rude attitude made it a very uncomfortable environment and if I felt like that I know my kids had to feel like that too and they never wanted to go to daycare ever! Now at their new daycare they tell me that they want to go and never cry at drop off time. I wish our experience would of been a better one but unfortunately I would not refer little Castle on Irvington to anyone at this time. Hopefully they can work on making the parents and most importantly the children feel welcomed and comfortable.
