      I happened upon this sweet little place while visiting Tucson and have never forgotten the food. Go.

      I was early for the airport and had suffered the monotony of conference food for three days. I just happened to see the front windows of Lerua's and pulled in for lunch. Clearly a local treasure judging from the clientele and the sweet and simple decor. The food was authentic and soul-satisfying good from the green corn tamales to the ropas viejas and fresh tortillas. This was 8 years ago and I always recommend to friends who are travelling to Tucson.
