General Info
The International Wildlife Museum is a national history museum located in Tucson, Ariz. Founded in 1988, the museum highlights over 400 species of insects, mammals and birds from around the globe. It has a wide collection of animals donated by various government agencies, wildlife rehabilitation centers, captive breeding programs, zoos and individuals. The museum depicts wild animals in natural settings, videos and interactive computers. It offers a close-up look at more than 400 insects, spiders, birds and mammals. The International Wildlife Museum is an educational program of the Safari Club International Foundation that funds and manages worldwide programs dedicated to wildlife conservation, outdoor education and humanitarian services.
