I had my 2000 mustang repaired by John. He used as much of my old transmission as possible. $1290 (he quoted me $1500) and 5 years running. We had a small issue 5 days after warranty, he looked at it fixed it, no charge. His quote was $2000 to $3500, less than any place we called. He is honest and fair as the name says. I have referred several people, including my mobile mechanic. Elizabeth Parker

After our experience here we would not go anywhere else! The Ford dealership said our 06 Fusion need a new transmission - $4000. After reading the reports on that vehicle John suggested we replace only the problem part - $2000. The final bill was $100 LESS. It has been 2 months since the work and the car has been over the Rockies and up north with absolutely no problem. Thanks for a job well done! Paul and Teena

I took my wife's '05 Dodge Durango in for transmission repair and John found out that it was ultimately the torque converter that was destroyed, not the transmission. On top of that he also found a part that was on a national back order and fixed my 4-wheel drive selector as well. Saved me around $3,000. I don't think any other business would do this. They would just say you need a new transmission (like Aastro Transmission did to me. Don't EVER go to Aastro. I took a working vehicle to them because of a leak and they took apart the transmission and screwed me into rebuilding the transmission. It was working!!) Anyway, Fair and Honest for damn sure. Take your vehicle here for any repairs you need, not just transmission repair. Family owned. HONEST! Hard to find when it comes to mechanics.
