The Ballet Rincon Dance Academy of Tucson, AZ strives to provide the very best classical dance instruction in the area. Our exceptional staff has a vast array of experience, having trained and danced with celebrated companies across the company. We have come together in Tucson to offer dancers of all ages and background to discover their own passion for dance. I read all the reviews and had hesitation going here. I also met people who did not like the teachers here especially the director and heard complaints about her being too strict with the girls. I have to admit when an extracurricular activity becomes so strict with teachers snapping at the kids, it's no longer fun for them and becomes stressful instead of enjoyable. This is what happened to our daughter after 1 year here. She now goes to another studio which is more fun and laid back. I regret ever putting her through this.

Ballet Rincon provides exceptional dance training along with an experience that will encourage growth not only in dance but in life. My daughter has been attending Ballet Rincon since she was very small and has so much confidence now in her abilities as a dancer. The atmosphere at the studio is always one of care and respect not to mention fun! We are so proud to say we are a part of Ballet Rincon!

We did not like this studio. The instruction was poor and the teachers were too strict and bipolar-like in their behavior towards our girls. They hated it and we took them out. I recommend going elsewhere.

Classes are too big and instruction is extremely poor and inconsistent from class to class. Many of my daughters friends have left and gone on to other studios. We will most likely do the same and this will be our last year. Not happy with the way the recitals require parents to watch the kids, not a safe backstage environment.

This Academy is very professional. If you are looking for a nurturing dance environment for your child, this is the place to go. The performances are top notch, from costumes to back drops they are all top of the line. She runs a very professional studio, with guidelines that are industry standards. The larger productions require contracts and commitments with parents as well as the dancers, precisely the reason why they turn out so well. We couldn't be happier with the instruction our children have received at Ballet Rincon Academy of Dance.

My family has been with Ballet Rincon since 2008. At our studio before, technique was never taught. Here, my children thrive with dance and have performed in full, beautiful productions of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. Teachers are good and caring, and will listen if there is a complaint. Children are safe back stage during productions with security and procedure. Highly recommend this studio!

Not happy with this studio. Teachers are too strict and can be verbally abusive at times with the older children. Younger children are not treated appropriately with respect to their age; ie, what can be expected from them in a developmentally appropriate fashion. Dress code is way too strict and concert guidelines are ridiculously long. Parents are given duties during concerts which really makes them unable to watch their own children dance, it is pretty absurd who are we paying here? Many people have left the studio and it reflects the many problems associated with it.

A great local company. Great ballet teachers that will sure make you have the best dancing experience. Two very nice studios and many different type of dances. You will be sure to have a great time being with them. They have amazing performances too! :)
