John Floyd Sr. (Owner) Is a great guy to do business with! When I needed clutch work in my '05 Scion TC, John towed my car from the dealership for free, and did a great job for $500 dollars less than the dealer wanted to charge me! He even had it ready a few days earlier than expected, and came to my house to pick me up when it was ready! Great service, honest, reasonable prices, and he even has a couple cool hot-rods to check out while you're there! Thanks again John, I'd definitely recommend Tualatin Transmission to everyone!

Hi, my name is Paul I took my 03' Audi V8 to the dealership twice and they were unable to diagnose my problem. So I took it to Tuluatin Transmission Center and they diagnosed it in 20 mins. So I left my car to be repaired and they fixed it on time and within the estimate and has a great warranty. Now my car works great! I highly recomend Tualatin Transmission Center. The guys there are very friendly. And have great service. Thanks.
I would highly recommend the guys at Tualatin Transmission. They are upfront and honest and go the extra mile for you, without over charging you. Thanks guys! It's the only place I would take my car for transmission service or repair. By the way their transmission service price is unbeatable, $65!

As a woman, I was hesitant to take my car ANYWHERE to be fixed. This place was recommended to me by a family friend and I could not be happier. I felt like they were truly concerned about getting my car fixed right the first time and I never had an insecure feeling like they might be charging me more than they should because I don't know anything about cars. The guys were polite and explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend them to anyone.

I looked up online "How to Decide Where to Repair a Car Transmission" and I found out that it is probably the most risky and exploitative of all automobile service and repair operations. In addition to being a very expensive, major repair, it is among the most difficult breakdowns to diagnose as well as being one of the most difficult repairs with the highest likelihood of failing after the repair. They recommend going off a personal recommendation and checking them out with the Better Business Bureau. They recommend avoiding all the national chain stores, large corporate shops and automobile dealerships except in cases where your car is under factory warranty. The best shops have an owner who closely monitors all production. The quality of their workmanship and components will be top bin, and their price will be surprisingly reasonable. This describes Tualatin Transmission PERFECTLY! They have a great reputation, you can talk to the owner in person and the work is exemplary.

"I will recommend your shop to all of my friends and thank you for affordably and quickly repairing my Honda transmission. Most shops treat women poorly but I was given respect and will purchase from you again should the need arise" Julia --Gresham, OR

"Our transmisssion was making a strange noise but only every once in a while. Another shop was unable to diagnose it but Tualatin Transmission did and fixed it the same day."Tim -Medford, OR
